The Foundry Art Centre

Overlooking the Missouri River and near historic Downtown St. Charles, this new 36,800-square-foot, interactive interdisciplinary arts center offers visitors multiple galleries with high quality exhibitions, performing art presentations, and classes. The second floor houses the working studios of approximately 20 artists.
St. Peters' Community & Arts Center
St. Peters' Community & Arts Center is a destination for the arts. Within the walls of this beautiful facility, there is always something going on. Stop by the beautiful art gallery or to view the thematic art shows held each month where local artists display works of art and many of the pieces are offered for sale. Instructive art classes are offered on site as well as lessons for voice, piano, and guitar. An Acoustic Music Jam is held every Wednesday evening. The Performing Arts Theatre seats over 30 and features dinner theater performances, musical performances, cultural experiences and community theater productions.
Festival of the Little Hills
In 1769 a French-Canadian named Louis Blanchette established the first European settlement on the Missouri River. Blanchette named the village Les Petite Cotes (The Little Hills). That original name gives St. Charles’ largest event of the year its name. The Festival of the Little Hills draws over 300,000 visitors annually and features over 300 craft booth, demonstrations, live music at venues throughout the grounds, other entertainment, food and refreshments.
MOSAICS Missouri Festival for the Arts
The MOSAICS Missouri Festival for the Arts offers a free, family-friendly community arts event that has provided art appreciation, live entertainment, children’s art education activities and enjoyment since 1995. This free festival, held on North Main Street in the Historic District of St. Charles, appeals to artists and visitors of all ages - from individuals to families, to those who appreciate art to the serious art collector, as well as aspiring artists and working arts professionals. Approximately 100 juried artists from across the country exhibit, sell their art, and compete for cash prize awards. Mediums represented include painting, sculpture, jewelry, and many other fine arts. Other activities include A Mentor Me program, an Art for Youth gallery, a performance stage that showcases a variety of performance artists and a Kids Creation Station where children can create their own artwork. Food and other refreshments are available throughout the festival grounds.
Music on Main
Join in on the fun every third Wednesday of the month (May-September) from 5 pm - 7:30 pm for food, drink and live music in historic downtown Saint Charles. Each month features a different popular local band. It’s always a party!
O'Fallon Jammin'
O'Fallon Jammin' is a weekly summer concert series that features regional bands playing pop, rock, and country. Bring a blanket or lawn chair for lawn seating in the natural amphitheatre. Area food trucks will be on hand providing food and beverages at reasonable prices.
St. Charles Big Band Concert
Tap your toes, dance along, or just sit back and relax to music’s greatest hits performed by the St. Charles Big Band! Their vast repertoire of music covers music from the 1930s to the 1980s and includes the genres of Swing, Rock, Pop, Blues, and Salsa. The 18 piece Big Band performs the second Sunday of each month, June through August. The venue is Frontier Park, a beautiful setting on the banks of the Missouri River in Historic St. Charles - a perfect place to experience music!. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.
St. Charles Municipal Band
The 50 piece St. Charles Municipal Band presents free band concerts throughout the year. Every Thursday during the summer concerts are held in Frontier Park on the Missouri river in Historic downtown St. Charles. These concerts feature all types of American band music including marches, Broadway shows, big band, Dixieland, overtures, and contemporary music. In December enjoy traditional and contemporary holiday music in a festive setting as the St. Charles Municipal Bands presents their annual "Holiday at Scheidegger" concert at the J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts on the Lindenwood University campus.
