The MOTO Museum is a private collection of motorcycles, obtained from nearly 20 countries around the globe celebrating the form, function, evolution, and elegance of the motorcycle. Housed in a 16,000-square-foot space that was once a printing company the collection features six spacious galleries displaying motorcycles and related memorabilia that spans almost eight decades (1900-1975) of mostly European motorcycling. Countries represented include Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, East Germany, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Soviet Union, Spain, Switzerland, and Sweden. The museum has over a 100 motorcycles on display, from sleek racers to sturdy dirt bikes and from remnants of motorcycles early era to more modern examples. The museum was opened by motorcycle enthusiast Steve Smith, who started his collection with a new 1975 Pursang 250 cc dirt bike built by the Bultaco Company in Barcelona, Spain that he bought to use in races. Like all the other motorcycles on display, the Pursang is accompanied with a sign explaining the bike’s history and how Smith acquired it. Smith assembled his collection by roaming the world looking in barns and hunting down bikes locked away in garages. For this reason his collection contains bikes less familiar to American riders making a visit a must for the motorcycle enthusiasts.

The museum is free to the public however donations are appreciated
Private guided tours are available for a fee and usually last approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
