Dr. Robert Elliott donated the funds for this stunning 1 acre rose garden as a memorial to his wife and the garden was completed and dedicated in 1980. This All-America Rose Selections accredited garden contains more than 125 varieties of roses and 1600 rose bushes and a gazebo. The Rose Garden has become a popular location for weddings and pictures for all events such as proms and family reunions. The Rose Garden is also home to a Carillon, which normally plays every half hour, and the Carillon guild performs a concert every Sunday at 5 pm starting Memorial Day and continuing through the end of September. The garden is located on the south side of the park.
