The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L Crisp II Museum is located at Southeast Missouri State University's River Campus. This museum has two components - an art museum and a history museum. The art museum features fine art exhibitions and the history museum features interpretive regional history displays. The history Museum Theatre runs a seventeen-minute video introducing visitors to southeast Missouri’s rich natural and human history. The Permanent Exhibition Gallery displays the museum's extensive collection of prehistoric Native American artifacts, including ceramic conch shell effigies, stone tools, and cups and bowls. The museum also contains an interactive Lewis and Clark exhibit, a life-size diorama of a Native American hut, exhibits about native wildlife and regional history.
