The JB Blast, south St. Louis County’s biggest Fourth of July Celebration at Veterans Memorial Amphitheater is a family-friendly event with live music, a fireworks show and food trucks. Gates open at 5 pm, live music begins at 7 pm, and fireworks at 9:15 pm. Food will be available for purchase from several food trucks on “food truck row.”

The festival's theme of "Cars and Guitars" speaks to the rich transportation and music history of the region. Live music and vintage vehicles will anchor this outdoor event. Most of Downtown Kirkwood’s numerous stores, locally owned boutiques, and restaurants will be open during the event. Live music from six bands, on two outdoor stages and a Beer Wagon serving beer and wine.

The popular outdoor Antique Fair includes plenty of antiques, vintage fire trucks, cars, baseball, food trucks, and the first spring concert of the season. Vendors will be stationed on the sidewalks of Mississippi and Park Avenues around the perimeter of the park. Vendors will also be set up in the Fountain Plaza in front of Sqwires.
