The Alton Cemetery comes alive with living history at the annual Vintage Voices heritage program. In addition to the walking tours at the cemetery a one-hour non-walking performance is held at the Lovejoy Event Center. Vintage Voices is produced by a volunteer committee and volunteer actors who bring the history of Alton to life believing that the tours are an important cultural event in our community.as they portray individuals who lived, worked, or in some significant way had an impact on Alton's history.
