Come and listen to the sounds of the blues at the premier blues festival in Southern Illinois sponsored by the Murphysboro Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with The Southern Illinois Blues Society. There will be bands featuring over eight hours of a truly American art form - the Blues - from Chicago, St. Louis, and Memphis. The first band begins playing at Noon with the headliners beginning at approximately 6 pm.
Many of the Murphysboro area award winning Wineries will have their products for sample and purchase and dozens of our Southern Illinois fine artists will be represented to display and sell their works. Other food and beverage concessionaires will be available.
No outside food or drinks is allowed but food and refreshments will be available on the grounds. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets.
