The
Jersey County Victorian
Festival
Agricultural Equipment
Jerseyville, Illinois

A Partial Line-Up of Steam Engines on the
Festival Site
Labor Day Weekend
September 4 -
September 6, 2010
An
important segment of the Festival concentrates
on antique farm equipment and this event is the Official Illinois Event of the ILL-MO
Tractor and Engine Club. Exhibitors of farm and farm related equipment come from across the
country to show and demonstrate their equipment.
Visitors
will be able to see a variety of working steam engines, tractors, and gas
engines in action as well as models. There will be demonstrations of the threshing of winter wheat
using antique threshing machines, an 1889 Garr-Scott sawmill will be
sawing lumber, and steam engines will be plowing. The Festival is a great
place to meet old friends, make new ones, and enjoy this unique hobby of
preserving our agricultural history.
