The Zoo's roster of sea lion superstars will thrill you with flipper walks, ball balancing, high dives and lots of splashing! Some of the acrobatic and athletic behaviors the Zoo's California sea lion stars include Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, powerful swimming, hurdle and high jumps, flipper walks, balancing acts, frisbee tosses, and lots of splashing and even more surprises! While on stage with the animals, our trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, animal fun facts and the need for conserving the sea lions' ocean habitat.
