EVENT DETAILS:

Location: Fort De Chartres State Historic Site, 4 miles west of Prairie du Rocher on IL-155

Date: Saturday, May 6, 2017

Times: 10 am - 4 pm

Description: Volunteer interpreters will be on site at this special annual event to allow kids their hand at 18th century rope making, archery, watch a funny puppet show, play frontier games and other activities. Kids can enlist to be a Fort de Chartres French Marine and can take a chance at becoming King or Queen by finding the bean in the Kings cake! All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Concessions will be available for sale throughout the day.
