Location: The Parish of St. Joseph, 11 North Alton Street, Freeburg, IL

Dates: September 6 - September 7, 2019

     Friday: 4 pm - 11 pm (Fish Fry: 4 pm - 7 pm)
     Saturday: 4 pm - 11 pm (Chicken Dinner: 4 pm - 7 pm)

Description: This annual picnic has been entertaining the Freeburg community for over a century. Friday features a fish fry with fish by the pound, fish plates, and sandwiches. Saturday features a Chicken dinner with all the fixins including mashed potatoes & gravy, salad, green beans, corn, applesauce, and dessert. On Saturday in addition to the Chicken dinner there will be brats, hamburgers, fries, refreshments, homemade pies and cakes available on the grounds. There will also be Quilt & Cash Bingo, a quilt raffle, basket stand, kidsí activities, a country store, an i dood it game, and other types of foods and refreshments. There will be live entertainment on both Friday and Saturday nights.
