artist based in Columbia, MO, is the juror. Gallery III - Group 4 Award -
Unrefined Light features the work of
Gwen
Arkin, Annette Fournet, Russ Rosener, and Shannon Welles. The
Ameristar Gallery- Emerging Artist is
Boisali Biswas.

RACE FOR THE
RIVERS FESTIVAL

Frontier Park
Greenway Network, a non-profit citizens action group, is hosting two
canoe and kayak races on the scenic Missouri River, a staged-event
covering 65 miles from Washington Missouri to the Confluence and an
Adventure Race from Weldon Spring to Frontier Park in St. Charles.
The organization is also hosting the Race For the Rivers Festival at
Frontier Park which will feature adventure and outdoor sports
vendors and environmental educational displays and activities.
Between the live bands, the hands-on art , environmental activities,
and educational displays the festival will be a great place to hang
out and wait for the racers to cross the flying finish line at the
park.

MOSAICS
MISSOURI FESTIVAL

Approximately 125 artists from across the country are selected to

fine arts. Other activities include A Mentor Me program, an Art
for Youth gallery, and a Kids Creation Station. Food and other
refreshments are available throughout the festival grounds.

Fans are encouraged to make their team the home team during the
2010 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Women's Basketball
Tournament, as the four-day tourney will feature all 10 league
schools. The tournament weekend begins with opening-round action
starting at 5 pm on Thursday, March 11, with all-conference
awards handed out between games one and two. The quarterfinals
begin at noon on March 12, with the semifinals starting at 5 pm
on March 13. The tourney concludes with a 2:30 pm championship
game on March 14.

quite different than most organizations. They only put on new plays,

time it has ever been produced. They think that if someone has
written a play, it should absolutely be produced somewhere. This
