Time: 9 am - 10 am

Description: Join staff rangers at the Reelfoot Lake State Park Visitor Center for an interpretive hike on the boardwalk over the lake. On this special day, hikers will have the opportunity to witness spectacular wildlife native to the Reelfoot area on this walk above the lake and cypress knees that help entail the breathtaking scenery found at Reelfoot Lake. During the hike, the staff will discuss not only the wildlife viewed, but historically, the natural phenomenon that occurred 205 years ago, separating this lake from any others in the state. Get to witness nature firsthand as you parade over the cypress knees and cutgrass. You may even see a critter or two! So donít miss out!
