Description: It's eagle season at Reelfoot Lake! During the winter, hundreds of eagles call the lake home, a sight not to be missed. This family-friendly festival features eagle tours and a variety of interpretive programs.

Join experienced park naturalists on daily, bald eagle and waterfowl bus or van tours. During the two hour tours, eagles can be seen perching, flying or soaring and snatching a fish from the lake. Telescopes for viewing and information about the natural and cultural history of the wildlife and area are provided. Unable to attend the festival? Reelfoot Lake State Park offers eagle tours in January and February.

Bald Eagle and Waterfowl Tours are $5 per person and reservations are required. For more information about tours, please call 731-253-9652. Seating is limited. All tours depart from the Reelfoot Lake State Park visitor center.

All events will be held at the Reelfoot Lake State Park visitor center on Highway 21E.

8 am - 8 pm: Smithsonian Waterways Exhibit in Ellington Hall Building (State Park) & Vendors
10 am: Eagle & Waterfowl Tours by Bus -2 hour tour
1:30 pm: Eagle & Waterfowl Tours by Bus - 2 hour tour
4 pm - 8 pm –Vendors Open in Ellington Hall Building (State Park)
4 pm - 8 pm: Entries for Art & Photography Contests turn in at Tourism Booth (Deadline Saturday 10 am)
7 pm: Welcome & Overview to Eagle & Waterfowl Watcher’s
7:30 pm: Slide Show Program on Nature, Wildlife & History of Reelfoot Lake

8 am: Eagle & Waterfowl Tours by Bus - 2 hour tour
9 am - 9 pm: Vendors Open at Ellington Hall (State Park)
10 am: Eagle & Waterfowl Tours by bus - 2 hour tour
10 am - 4 pm – Activity For Children - Paint a Ceramic Eagle/Duck Decoy($5.00 fee) &Face Painting
11 am: Deadline for turning in Art & Photography Contests Entries to Tourism Booth
11 am: Back by Popular Demand - Bob Tarter & his amazing animals - Wildlife Education
1:30 pm:  Eagle & Waterfowl Tours by Bus - 2 hour tour
2 pm: Live Birds of Prey Program - With John & Dale Stokes
6:30 pm: Announcement of the winners for the Art & Photography Contests
7 pm: Live Birds of Prey Program with John & Dale Stokes
