Location: Arkansas State University Museum, 320 University Loop, Jonesboro, AR

Date: Sunday, April 8, 2018

Times: 1 pm - 3 pm

Description: Through a Child’s Eyes is a juried art show to which Jonesboro area schools, both public and private, have submitted approximately works of art created by children aged four through grade 8. First place, second place, and third place ribbons will be awarded by judges to each grade level and an overall winner will receive the coveted Charlott Jones Best in Show Award.

After enjoying Through a Child’s Eyes, guests may enter the main gallery for hands-on NanoDays fun. NanoDays at ASU Museum is a part of a nationwide festival of educational programs about nanoscale science and engineering. This NanoDays event will explore the miniscule world of atoms, molecules, and nanoscale forces. Visitors will explore capillary action and non-Newtonian fluids, investigate new nano products and materials, and imagine what society might be like if we all wore invisibility cloaks.
