  Bootheel, Missouri
New Madrid and Kennett are the places to go for events in the Bootheel Region of Missouri. Events include the annual Delta Fair, the largest fair in the area, and the Fall Into Arts Festival. Patriotic events occur around the 4th of July and the Hunter-Dawson State Historic Site Park holds a number of activities throughout the year.
  Northeastern Arkansas
Visitors will find a variety of events and activities to take advantage of in Northeastern Arkansas. Check out the annual community festival in Paragould in May or the old fashioned Labor Day Picnic in Rector. Art lovers will find exhibits in the Bradbury Gallery at ASU in Jonesboro and radio station KASU hosts a monthly "Bluegrass Monday" concert series in Paragould. Other events include nature related events at the state parks along Crowley’s Ridge and annual community festivals.
