Description: Fulton was once known as the "Banana Capital of the World" because 70% of imported bananas to the United States used to be shipped through here. Since 1962 Fulton has held a weeklong celebration of everything bananas with events that include parades, contests, pageants, carnival rides, live entertainment, and more.
