was the beginning of a new tradition in Faust Park as the Tilles
Fall Fine Arts Festival movedto the St. Louis Carousel area in
Faust Park. The Historic Village continued to feature
demonstrations of blacksmithing, rope making, pottery firing and
other crafts with historical significance, along with games and
activities for children. All structures will be open for viewing. As
an added bonus, just outside the village area, Juried Fine Arts and
Crafts of a more modern nature will be featured along with the
artists themselves. Live music and food will be nearby.
$5
per person covers both events. Children 4 and under are free. Free
carousel rides are included with the entrance fee.

Learn the art of paper piecing at the annual Elsah Fall Quilt
Retreat. Some quilts can look quite difficult, but they can be made
easy through the technique of paper piecing. With Barb Marfell as
your instructor, you will receive professional instruction, a supply
list, two lunches, two suppers, snacks, a walking tour through the
Village of Elsah, road trip to Crocker & Springer Pottery and a
presentation by guest speaker, Hallye Bone.
The
cost of the retreat is $130 per person. Housing is additional, but
we will make the reservation for you. The cost for a two night stay
is $188 per person for a single room and $169 per person for a
double room

Hallye Bone, author of "Caring for Your Quilts." Hallye will be
presenting a delightful program on "Redwork Embroidery - 150 Years
of Beauty - Reviving Yesterday's Tradition Today." Hallye has 35
years of experience cleaning, repairing and collecting quilts.
The

atmosphere of the outdoors, artists are invited to join the realms
of the famous regionalist artists of the 1930's by painting
outdoors in scenic Ste. Genevieve with an opportunity to display
and sell their work on the streets of Ste. Genevieve Saturday and
Sunday, October 10th & 11th during the Autumn Daze Art /
Artisan / Fine Craft event. Two
pieces of work produced during the week will be juried on Saturday
with monetary prizes being awarded at Noon.

Bolduc Historic Properties and The National Society of The Colonial
Dames of America in the State of Missouri are proud to present the
art of Ste. Genevieve artist, Becky Millinger. Millinger has been
working with the Bolduc Historic Properties to create art that
reflects the historic properties, including watercolor/gouache
scenes vitalizing the Herb Cottage and Gardens with color and
masterfully composed ink drawings of the historic buildings. Herbal
refreshments will be served as you view the Bolduc House through the
eyes of this sensitive artist. Musical entertainment will also be
offered. Visitors are invited to tour the Bolduc House for a nominal
fee which goes to the upkeep of the historic property.

Fundraiser at River Front Park. The annual art show is located
in the historic Appleshed and the historic
Elgin/Cottrell House will be open for guided tours during
