Great Rivers Choral Society, Inc. will perform the musical "How Mr. Lincoln Got His Whiskers". This is a family oriented performance of an original musical by local artist, Mary Kay Mosby that is based on an historical event in the life of Abraham Lincoln.  It will feature choral members and a group of children dancers and singers and will include period costumes, instrumental music from a fiddle and a dulcimer, dancing, a children’s ensemble, and an adult choir. In addition to the musical the performance will include music by Stephen Foster.

The Friends of Bluegrass are one of the most versatile performing groups in the region as they blend their fiery bluegrass roots with fine, traditional Irish and Cajun music. They will take the crowd into the hills of Kentucky and Tennessee with the songs of Bill Monroe, Lester Flatt, Roy Acuff, Earl Scruggs and Charlie Daniels. Joining the group will be singers Brenda Cook and 14 year-old Marissa Harmes.
